What it does
AI notes are made from the transcript, on request. Nothing is generated until you ask. The note is written in the language of the transcript and is labelled as AI-generated.
AI notes can miss things and get details wrong, such as who owns a task. Treat a note as a starting point and check important details against the transcript.
- Summary: a short overview of what the recording covers.
- Chapters: sections with start times. Click one to jump to that point in the audio.
- Action items: each task, with its timestamp and an owner when the recording names one.
- Copy a note to paste it into your own document.
- If you edit the transcript afterwards, the note tells you it may be out of date and offers to regenerate it.
How it works
- Open a finished transcript and choose AI notes.
- Pick a note type: summary, chapters or action items.

Questions
Which note types are free?
The summary is included on Free. Chapters and action items need Unlimited. The table above lists the daily allowance for each plan.
Are AI notes always correct?
No. They can miss points, misread a name or assign a task to the wrong person. Check anything important against the transcript before you act on it.
Is my transcript used to train the AI?
No. Transcript text is sent to our AI provider only when you generate a note, under Zero Data Retention and no-training terms. We never send titles, filenames, names or email addresses.
Why does it say my transcript is too short?
Notes need at least 50 words to work from. A short clip or a recording with little speech does not give the model enough to summarise.
Do notes update when I edit the transcript?
No, but the note tells you that the transcript changed since it was made, and you can regenerate it.
